And here are two painting designs that I think would be fun to copy in quilt form, by Piet Mondrian and Gene Davis, respectively. She mentioned that these would be fun to use as headboards for beds, I think that's such a cool idea. Do you have a headboard? Last time I was at your house I think you didn't. Lately I've been seeing pictures of friends making them, like Katy Worsley's quilted one and my friend Laney has a GORGEOUS one of funky material she just stapled around a piece of board she had a friend cut out for her. Anywho, I started dreaming up all the crazy modern artworks we could copy and got carried away:
