Why is it that Disney can make everything better? AND in case you haven't see it....
There are 2,110 miles between Salt Lake City and Washington, DC. Like that would phase us. Best friends need a place to keep talking, a way to show each other the worlds they live in and the things they see. Enter the Wild Lindssica Blog. Welcome!

The Exhortation of the Dawn
My friend Milan went to a posh middle-high school in LA, and she remembers reciting the following right after the Pledge of Allegiance every day. It's from an unknown Indian poet:
Listen to the Exhortation of the Dawn:
Look to this Day!
For it is life, the very life of life.
In its brief course lie all the verities
and realities of your existence:
The Glory of Action,
The Bliss of Growth,
The Splendor of Beauty.
For yesterday is but a dream,
and tomorrow is only a vision.
But today, well lived, makes
Every yesterday a dream of happiness
and every tomorrow a vision of hope.
Look well, therefore, to this Day!
Such is the salutation to the Dawn.
I stole it from her blog, wrote it out, and taped it to my wall. But today I'm rearranging my room, and it looks very dingy, so I'm taking it down. But I needed a place to record it for posterity. Enter, our blog! Hope you enjoy it, too.
